Free software update offers new features, enhanced VoIP service provider integration, and extended diagnostics to make installs even easier
Ottawa, Canada – July 4th, 2008 – TalkSwitch®, the leader in the design and manufacture of innovative telephone systems for small and multi-location businesses, and its Australian distributor Lan 1, today announced the release of TalkSwitch management software 6.10 in Australia.
 
The free software update offers TalkSwitch users new features for enhanced call handling flexibility and increased productivity, including the ability to integrate with multiple Internet Telephony Service Providers, with fail-over to PSTN for added security, plus more extensive diagnostic capabilities to simplify VoIP deployments.
 
In addition, users will notice a dramatic new Java-based graphical user interface that enhances the intuitive configuration experience, provides extensive help messaging for guidance, and makes installations even simpler.

For the first time customers have the option of integrating with up to 4 different service providers on a single system, allowing them to take advantage of the best offerings from each. If a certain service provider has great rates on local calling they can use that provider, then select a different one that has better long distance or international rates. It’s a great way to save money and get the most value and return on their phone system purchase.
 
There is also a built-in diagnostic tool that allows users to instantly check the status of firewall ports to ensure optimal connectivity for VoIP networking.
