On Tuesday the 29th of May 2007, Dueltek Computer Products and Raritan Australia hosted a function to launch the new DKX2 at Crown Casino.

This event also gave those lucky attendees a sneak preview of the new Dominion PX power over IP solutions due for release from Raritan later this year.

Representatives from both Dueltek & Raritan were able to give a select group of clients an inside look at the Dominion KX2 with all its new features and advantages.

“Dominion KXI switches are currently the most sought-after and successful product sold in both the Australian and New Zealand markets. Undoubtedly, the launch of Dominion KXII is exciting news for our local customers…” – Gary Hull (Director of Sales – Raritan Australia and New Zealand)

Dueltek would like to thank all those who attended the function; we are also looking forward to launching the new Dominion PX power over IP units later this year.

The new Dominion KX2 KVM over IP units are equip with Dual redundant power supplies as well as dual redundant Gigabit network ports, the only KVM on the market to have either of these features.

More new features also include the following:

- Absolute Mouse Synchronisation which reduces installation time and sets a new standard for mouse synchronisation.

- Universal virtual media which allows a remote user to mount a CD ROM drive and copy or run programs and files from the remote PC to any server connected using the DCIM-VUSB dongles.

- Highest port density of any KVM over IP on the market, the DKX464 and the new DKX2-464* allows 4 remote users and one local user access up to 64 devices simultaneously through the one KVM unit.
