New from Paqworks is an industrial Tri-Band 3G cellular communications gateway with modem and router functionalities. Devices provide feature rich and reliable communication solutions in a compact and rugged enclosure.

With the changeover from CDMA to HSDPA the 3G modem/router is an excellent platform to replace existing CDMA gateways. With higher bandwidths available units are the ideal platform to take advantage of the many new application possibilities.

Design incorporates modern functionality with interfaces for serial based devices and increasingly popular Ethernet enabled devices and networks.

Standard on all models is two Ethernet ports, eliminating the need to use an external switch in applications where a remote LAN is made up of only one or two devices. The switch is managed and can support VLAN and QoS functionality.

Connecting to legacy serial enabled hardware, and emulation of dial-up modem type functionality remains a key application for many customers. To address current flexibility requirements devices are available in two versions offering up to 3 serial ports, each with flexible configuration options.

With a small, robust and rugged industrial enclosure, devices can be installed stand-alone or secured with DIN Rail mount option. Power supply for devices are isolated and operate from a wide input voltage range of 10VDC to 60VDC.
